About the Principals

Michael J. McGuire, Attorney at Law. Michael is an Elder Law Attorney, his practice has concentrated on serving the needs of his clients in the areas of estate planning, probate and Medi-Cal planning and protection. He has a unique background in financial services, the business world and the law. He is a member of the National Academy of elder Law Attorneys and California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform, The California, Los Angeles County, Orange County, South Bay and Long Beach Bar Associations. McGuire is a noted guest lecturer throughout California and is often quoted in newspapers and senior publications. In addition, he is very active in civic and philanthropic organizations supporting seniors and his community at large.

John Reeve is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and President of John Reeve & Assocites, an insurance and financial services agency specializing in senior services, retirement planning, life insurance and employee benefits. He began working with seniors after his family faced both the financial and psychological devastation caused by placing his mother in a nursing home due to Alzheimer¹s disease. His 25 years of insurance and financial service, coupled with his dedication to protecting the assets of his clinets, gives him a unique perspective on the ways to solve the porblems facing seniors in our community.
